I will be crafting an events page soon for campaign and activist goings ons. For now though, here are a couple of cool things coming up.

Thur. April 28– Weekly Peace Demonstration with CCPJ
5:00-6:00 pm in front of the Federal Building corner of McIntire and W. Main St.

Sat. April 30– Roller Derby! Cville Derby Dames vs. Chemical Valley Roller Girls
6:00 pm Main St. Arena on the downtown mall
Sun. May 1- MAY DAY International Workers DayMay Day RVA!
workshops start at 11:00 am, Rally and Parade 4:00 pm, Monroe Park, Richmond Va.
Mon. May 2– City Council Meeting, find agenda here
7:00 (come early to sign up to speak) City Hall
Tue. May 3– Brandon Collins on the Schilling Show (YIKES!)

Tue. May 3UVA Workers meeting and info session “What is a Living Wage?”
7:00-8:30 pm Random Row Bookstore 315 W. Main St. (childcare provided)
Wed. May 4“May the 4th Be With You” Anti-War event and music (I will be speaking!)
Thur. May 5– Weekly Peace Demonstration with CCPJ
5:00-6:00 pm in front of the Federal Building corner of McIntire and W. Main St.
Sun. May 8– General Meeting Charlottesville Center for Peace and Justice
3:00 pm Friends Meeting House 1104 Forest St.
Wed. May 11– Rally against nukes and mountain top removal and Dominion Power
5:30 pm Downtown Mall- thanks PACE!
Thur. May 12– Picket and Protest Dominion Power Stockholders Meeting
8:00 am Rt 250 at the Boar’s Head entrance
